ARTIST'S BIO Laiwan is a recognized interdisciplinary artist and writer interested in poetics and philosophy. Born in Zimbabwe of Chinese parents, she immigrated to Canada in 1977 to leave the war in Rhodesia. She teaches at Goddard College in the MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts, Vermont. For more:
